Very nice experience - June 2024
We went for lunch in a very rainy day. And it was kind of late..We had an excellent lunch at their restaurant, the Covey (prawns, sirloin and lamb). Felt very well served and attended by MARCO, the Spanish waiter, who gave us good recomendations concerning wine and helped us with all what we needed. He is an excellent professional. Summarizing: Amazing place, amazing food and great waiter. Great experience! Thank you so much!. We will recommend you to our friends.

Sister Getaway - June 2024
Amazing weekend in Westport. Room was big with a double bed and two singles so myself and my 3 sisters had plenty of room for 3 nights in the room. The bathroom was fabulous with a shower and jacuzzi bath. House keeping was brilliant with keeping the room spotless. Room had a balcony and was just across from the castle court, we slept sound with no disturbance from any other guests, the weddings on or the stag or hen dos that were around. The hotel is slap bang in the middle of westport and a very short walk to the lovely pubs and restaurants that make Westport night life great. The breakfast each morning was served in the restaurant and was fabulous. The hot breakfast was ordered at the table we had a range from the menu over the 3 days and each morning it was beautiful. The buffet was fully stocked and had plenty of choice. The staff in the hotel were amazing no matter what you looked for and were polite throughout the whole bank holiday weekend. I would recommend the plaza to anyone and am happy Ill be returning again next year for a wedding.

Covey’s Restaurant - June 2024
We stumbled across this place by chance, and we were not disappointed! From the moment we stepped into the restaurant we all said “wow..” the interior was gorgeous. Our server for the night was Emmanuel and he was truly great. He would never pass by without looking to see if we needed him. Very friendly, professional and always had a smile on his face. Cocktails were beautiful and the food was served relatively quickly. The food was amazing! We all ordered the fillet steak and it’s one of the best we have had in a very long time. Cooked perfectly. The presentation was also great. Highly recommend for a fancy dinner with friends or a date night. Will 100% be back again when we return to Westport. Please pass our gratitude to Emmanuel.

Great stay in great Hotel in the heart of Westport ,everything was top class - May 2024
Having arrived by train to westport our holiday started off on a happy note with friendly staff at reception desk where we checked in for our 3 day stay in this faboulous hotel and booked evening dinner in Coveys restaurant ,This is no ordinary Hotel Restaurant and in addition to a menu that covers everybody 's we ordered the fish special of the day which was a really special dish of baked cod in a beautiful tomato based sauce,i also highly recommend the starter of goats cheese tartlet and very tasty desserts.The rooms are spotless and very very comfortable that are very well serviced with excellent tea and coffee and toileteries.Breakfast is far superior to many hotels and specialist breakfast places in many towns in Ireland , with v pleasent staff taking your order and bringing it to your table.I am an early riser and slipped down early morning for the complimentary paper to read with a coffee in my room before breakfast with family,
I recommend the great hotel and Westport to anybody from Ireland or anywhere in the world for that special trip.

Great experience - May 2024
Lovely room, great staff and wonderful food. The only comment I would have is that the restaurant can be extremely noisy when it’s full which it is most nights so be aware. We were in a room on the top floor which made it very quiet although my daughter was in a family room (600) and could hear the disco until the small hours!

Great hotel, makes guests feel welcome - May 2024
The Westport Plaza did not disappoint. They were very hospitable and left us some treats to help celebrate our 40th anniversary. The room was spotless and every staff member greeted us with a smile. A breakfast, served each day was absolutely delicious. The plaza is certainly the place to stay if you wish to have a quiet holiday away from a raucous nightlife but central to pubs and many great restaurants Westport has to offer.
